It is a well written and researched book that is very interesting and easy to read. A complex story that is presented in a clear and an engaging style. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to others. Congratulations!!!

I loved the book! As someone from Summersville who grew up with you and still lives here it was very informative. Your mom was always so nice to me when I was at your house and the few times I saw her in town. I loved living in that neighborhood! We had much fun in the summers! As a kid with four other siblings, mom and step-dad I felt lost in the shuffle at my own house, but when I went to that big old house of yours I had a ball!
I didn’t realize how very much your dad did for our town. I knew some things, but not the scope of what he did. I also felt sad at times while reading your story because I didn’t see what you went through….worrying about your mom and having to stay home from school with her. When you moved we didn’t have classes together and weren’t running around and spending time together like Jr. High, but I was sorry to see you go.
As I read, I could hear that quit wit of yours from your words. I truly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more! So, my very best wishes for future books, and congratulations on this one!
